I also have an old magellan. They at least give you a manual also there isn't a registration form. You certainly don't make it easy

I TRIED FOR AN HOUR UNSUCCESSFULLY. I paid about $300 for the nuvi 2559 lmt GPS and can't use it. How about sending me one, and why not put it in the box in the first place?
